Headquartered in Amsterdam, Postcode Lottery Group operates charity lotteries in the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany and Norway. Millions of people across Europe choose to contribute to positive social change every month by taking part.
The growth in participation helped drive a record €2.8 billion in revenue during 2025. Most significantly, the lotteries also raised a record €1.0 billion for charities and social initiatives for the first time in the organisation’s history, surpassing the €969 million raised in 2024.
These achievements highlight the international popularity of the Postcode Lottery format. Since the launch of the first Postcode Lottery in the Netherlands in 1989, the organisation has now raised an extraordinary €15.5 billion for thousands of charities and social initiatives around the world
Unrestricted funding supports 500 long-term charity partners, while thousands of community initiatives also benefit, strengthening local communities around the globe. Funds are allocated to organisations working across a wide range of areas, including health, human rights, social cohesion, sport, culture, nature and animal welfare, among many others.
The Group’s individual lotteries achieved important national milestones during the year. Postcode Lottery United Kingdom delivered a record-breaking performance in its 20th anniversary year, surpassing 5.2 million subscriptions and achieving its strongest sales year to date. In Germany, Postcode Lotterie Deutschland continued its strong growth and exceeded two million active monthly subscriptions, while the Dutch lotteries recorded their 35th consecutive year of growth. Postkodlotteriet Sverige maintained stable revenues during its own 20th anniversary year, while Postkodelotteriet Norge prepared for the next phase of its development with a new long-term permit.
Alongside its financial and charitable milestones, 2025 also marked the introduction of a major group-wide rebrand. Postcode Lottery Group developed a new logo, trade name and font to create a stronger, more unified identity across all markets. The new logo symbolises the organisation’s commitment to people and planet. It reflects the values of winning together, sharing and warmth, which remain at the heart of the Postcode Lottery brand.
Commenting on the year’s achievements, Postcode Lottery Group CEO Sigrid van Aken said: “2025 was an exceptional year for Postcode Lottery Group and for the millions of players who make our mission possible. Reaching the milestone of €1.0 billion raised for charities in a single year is a significant achievement for our organisation, our charity partners and our players. It reflects the strength of our unique model, the dedication of our colleagues and partners, and above all the continued support of our players.”
She added: “What began in the Netherlands more than three decades ago has grown into an international organisation operating across multiple countries, while remaining firmly connected to the values and vision on which the Postcode Lottery was founded. At the same time, our new brand identity marks an exciting step forward as we continue to grow internationally while staying true to our principles.”
